Membrane & Tape options at a glance

THERMOFLOC VSD Membrane is a high performance vapour control layer and air tightness barrier The THERMOFLOC VSD Membrane differs from conventional vapour control layers by also allowing moisture to escape under favourable conditions. This helps maintain breathability within the structure whilst controlling excessive moisture levels The membrane should be installed internally (the warm side of the insulation) in a wall, floor or roof application.

THERMAFLEECE Breather Membrane is light-weight 100 gsm breather membrane ideal for installing on top of loft insulation as a protective layer or under joints to hold insulation in position from below. This breather membrane can also be used as a conventional breather membrane over the rafter or on the cold side of a timber frame where a heavier weight breather membrane is not necessary.

THERMOFLOC Adhesive Tape is supplied in rolls and is suitable for taping joints in order to prevent air leakage when you are looking ensure a draft free construction. Tapes can be used on the membrane or timber boards such as OSB or plywood.
